You might've heard of Helicopter Girl (AKA Jackie Joyce) before. You might not have. She's had two albums out already; the Mercury Music Prize-nominated 'How To Steal The World' (2000) and sophomore effort, 'Voodoo Chic' (2004). Well, now she's done a third album, 'Metropolitan', which is out later this year...

It's 'Shut Up And Let Me Go' off of The Ting Tings debut album (pre-order here). That's them sorted then. (Not very) interesting fact - my local HMV has a CD divider for The Ting Tings which is incorrectly labelled The Two Tings. Chuckle.

...in which Madonna (and little Justin) dance. What happened to videos with a narrative? It's been a long time since Madonna did a video that wasn't just an advertisement for a 50 year old woman's suppleness. Given she's apparently also an 'actress', I'd like her to be a bit more artistic with her music videos. Leave the gymnastics for the tour! The song has grown on me a bit, BTW.
